Given that last Sunday we saw one of the greatest comebacks in NFL Playoffs history, when the Kansas City Chiefs were able to over come an early second quarter 24-0 deficit to wind up winning in blow out fashion, this fan’s sacrifice was more than enough to earn him this Champ of the Week nod. After being labeled a jinx by friends and after seeing his beloved Chiefs looking up from down 24 early, one fan decided that he had the power to change things. Known on Twitter as Big Buck Chuck, this fan took it upon himself to test his friends “jinx” theory and leave the divisional round playoff game in hopes that would provide the team with the spark it needed.
This Chiefs fan left the game when it was 24-0 Texans in the first quarter.
“I’m out of here so we can get that 2nd half comeback” 😂

Maybe it’s a coincidence, maybe it’s superstition or a little of both. But after leaving the game the Chiefs put up 28 unanswered points in the second quarter to take the lead and go onto win 51-31. Chiefs fan owe this man a huge thank you. As a way to encourage Big Buck Chuck to stay home during the AFC Championship game, the Chiefs upgraded the fans home entertainment system, grill as well as giving him tons of game day swag. It’s clear the Chiefs weren’t taking any chances. For being the (a) reason the Kansas City Chiefs are on their way to a Super Bowl, Big Buck Chuck is your Champ of the Week….tra la la.
